Halloween Soap Giveaway

My first official giveaway will be one of my Candy Corn Soaps. These soaps are wonderful as a Halloween treat for yourself or to give as a gift. To enter all you have to do is post a comment on YOUR best Halloween costume (or one you would like to do, but like me can't get up the nerve to do it) and leave an email where I can reach you if you win. I've always been a huge 40's "pin-up" girl fan and would love to dress up like that, but to be honest -I'm too big of a chicken.

The contest starts tonight and will end Sunday October 26 at 12:00pm EST. Your prize will be mailed on Monday and should arrive in time for Halloween. All names will go into a basket at the end of the drawing and one of my wonderful children will do the honors and choose the winner.

Love this soap! I went as "Sally" from Nightmare Before Christmas. It was the first year I realized you don't have to be a sex bomb every Halloween. It's more fun to be something spooky! I'm having some giveaways on my blog, too! Come on by! http://nowenteringmomville.blogspot.com/2008/10/shabby-apple-dress-giveaway.html

One year I was working at a very straight-edge corporation, and they relaxed the dress code a bit for Halloween. I went as the "manga" (japanese comic) version of myself - I got a hot pink wig done in cute ponytails, a big daisy hair clip, and wore huge, rainbow-colored false eyelashes. I had neon yellow & green striped thi-highs, a turquoise mini skirt, and a little baby doll tee with fingerless gloves. Oh, and mary jane flats. I'm not sure what my boss thought, but I was regarded as "the crazy one" in the office after that. In a good way.

I am boring I guess, I have only ever been one thing for halloween. When I was a kid I was Cleopatra for 3 years straight, lol, because it was hand-me-down costume and we never went trick-or-treating anyway.I am begining to realize why I never get that into halloween, haha! But I DO love that candycorn soap!!!

First of all, how can you possibly expect anyone to use your soaps if you make them so delicious looking? I don't want to bathe with it; I wanna EAT it!

I'm trying hard to remember any good costumes. They were all pretty bad. I've been your typical bunny, mouse, and cat (like 5 years in a row, sad but true). Basically, anything that costs little or nothing... I'm remembering back, waaay back to elementary school. We didn't have money to "waste" on Halloween costumes, so I just went as a Woman. I dressed up in grown up clothes, put on some floppy high heals from the back of my mom's closet, and made my way to the annual school Halloween Carnival. I remember getting a few comments, but, in retrospect, it had to have been all out of pity.

To be honest I am not into dressing up for Halloween or any other thing. I just love your soap and since candy corn is my favorite candy I had to enter. ;)

I haven't really wore a costume. But if we do, I'd love to do it as a family. Recently I found a family wearing the Incredibles costumes. It looks really fun and cute. Adore By Nat

This year I'm going to see if I can get the nerve up to wear the cat mask (as seen in my picture Maddie wearing it) with black leggings, black knee high boots, black top and hubby is voting for a tail. I'll take pics if I do it and post them on my blog. Many years in a row I'd go as a Renaissance peasant girl since I had the costume from renni fairs. The best one though was in college where I simply dressed up as "dead" I used my stage makeup to make my skin look all icky and I simply looked DEAD.

I never dress up, but I always make costumes for my kids. I think the best ever was the year my daughter wanted to be Barbie of Swan Lake. There was no commercial pattern for that so I had to design it myself. It was gorgeous if I do say so myself! lol.

One year I dressed up as a "one night stand", literally. I made a table with a tablecloth out of a cardboard box and affixed a little alarm clock to it, then I had a lampshade on my head. It was so funny. Also shocked my co-workers one year by wearing a cheerleading outfit to work on Halloween. Love all your soaps!

I make candles my self, but since being on etsy..have fallen in LOVE with soaps!
I would always dress up as Wonder Woman! I'm a stay-at-home Mommy of 5 boys so it just seems to suit me..:)

When I was 14 my mom and I made me this awesome cat costume with white background leopard print pajama flannel and a black satin tummy. It had a hood with cute little ears, footies, and it even had a tail that we stuffed with plastic grocery sacks. If I was one inch shorter and 40 pounds lighter I might be able to fit into it again...lol!

I absolutely love this soap!!! I can't wait for Halloween. For the past 8 years I've worn the same fairy costume to trick-or-treat. My mom made it when I was 15, and every year I do something different with it. Last year I added green strips of fabric to the skirt, the year before I replaced the straps with cool fabric and flowers, the year before that I made new, bigger wings. I think it's kind of cool - same costume, but still different every year. This year my daughter wants to be batman and says her dad should be Joker and I should be Harley Quinn. lol.

Great costumes you have all done for yourself and children. My children are going to be a Dead Biker and vampire Princess. Keep 'em coming.

We have't done halloween for a while....I guess my favorite is a fireman costume we picked up for for our son. It almost looks real!
